The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the most important standard for the sustainable production of textile products.
The use of organic natural fibers, their traceability along the production chain and the adoption of eco-sustainable processes, has led to the formalization of the international standard GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).
The GOTS certification ensures in the production the use of natural fibers such as cotton grown according to the principles of Organic Agriculture, i.e. without the use of synthetic chemical pesticides, GMO Genetically Modified Organisms and promote textile products that respect the environment and basic social rights of workers.
Global Recycle Standards (GRS), certifies products obtained from post-consumer recycled materials. It enhances products made in compliance with environmental and social criteria extended to all stages of the production chain. The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the most important international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector. With this standard, the fundamental importance of recycling is recognized for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model; aims to encourage the reduction of resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and to increase the quality of recycled products.
